More Details for Pennsylvania

In Pennsylvania, 25 Pa. Stat. § 3068, current for 2022, has “If the type of voting machine is equipped with mechanism for printing paper proof sheets, one of said proof sheets shall be posted on the door of the polling place with the statement aforesaid”. You can check what kind of voting equipment is used in your county.

A 2022 Leigh County Poll Worker Training Manual on page 35 has “A results tape is NO LONGER required to be posted at the polling location. Reason being, due to Act77 and the introduction of mail in ballots, these results will no longer be anywhere near accurate. You can place this extra tape in the “A” envelope.”

An Allegheny County Poll Worker Training Manual for 2022 on pages 39-44 says “print four copies of Final Results Tapes… Post the last Results Tape with the Write-In Review Report attached at the outside entrance to the Polling Place, where a member of the public can see it without accessing the Polling Place.”

Actual Vote users may also be able to make an appointment with the Board of Elections to video-record tapes at the elections office after election day.
